About the Event

The organizing committee invites you to participate in the 85^th Annual session of Indian Ceramic Society (InCerS) in conjunction with 47^th Annual Session of IIC and 73^rd Annual Session of AIPMA during 13-14, December, 2021. This year the Annual session will be held at PDA College of Engineering, Kalaburagi, Karnataka-585102 and organized by Indian Ceramic Society, Karnataka Chapter. The Annual session includes an International Virtual Conference on “Advances in Ceramics & Cement Technologies: Materials & Manufacturing”. The objective of the conference is to share and exchange ideas on research and development in the above fields and its applications in industries. Due to COVID-19 pandemic situation, except the inaugural and valedictory events all other technical sessions will be held in virtual mode. Researchers, Scientists, Professors, Students and industry personnel from different parts of the country and abroad will share their experience on these areas to create a platform for futuristic collaborations between Research Institutes, Universities and Industry. In this conference, different technical sessions will be organized with invited and contributory lectures in respective fields by eminent speakers in glass, cement & ceramic materials. There will be two special sessions viz: (1) Manufacturing & material issues in Cement Industries (2) Entrepreneurship & Start ups in Ceramic field will be held in this conference.

We hope this conference will promote basic understanding and ultimately enable advancements within multiple sectors, including energy, environment, manufacturing, security and health care.

About Venue:

Kalaburagi (earlier known as Gulbarga) is about 600 km north of Bangalore and about 230 km west of Hyderabad. Well connected by road, train and a new Airport is functioning now. Climate in December is very pleasant with average temperature of 23 Degree Celsius . Click Here for location map.

The Inauguration & valedictory function of the Annual session of InCerS, AIPMA, IIC will be held at PDA College of Engineering, Kalaburagi, Karnataka-585102. Technical sessions will be conducted through online platform.
